Our client, Accenture is looking for an additional member to their CDTS team.
Corporate Development Transaction Services (CDTS) is part of the Global finance organisation and works primarily on Accenture's large and complex outsourcing opportunities, as well as to smaller extent acquisitions. They interact on a daily basis with various subject matter experts in the firm to ensure that the larger deals meet corporate guidelines and requirements in terms of commercial structure, financial metrics, US GAAP, and overall business risk. CDTS is responsible for preparing and presenting (up to Capital Committee for the larges and/or most complex deals) standardised set of financial evaluation metrics as well as a detailed knowledge of the commercial context within which deals are negotiated.
For the right person who has a keen interest in finance, outsourcing and to acquire a broad based knowledge of all of Accenture's offerings, CDTS is a great platform to launch a career either in finance or at later stages in market making or a commercial delivery role. The role is temporarily based in Frösundavik and will relocate to newly refurbished and modern facilities at Kungsholmen in summer 2012.
Job Description
- Shaping deals - handling initial analysis of project viability, operational performance levels and pricing
- Financial Support - working closely with business development team during negotiations ensuring ongoing analysis deal structure and the financial and operational risk of the business case to both Accenture and the client
- Operational Support - ensuring the business case in terms of pricing and contract between the parties is deliverable and profitable
- Out of town work in country and internationally is a frequent feature of this role
Requirements
- Master Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics
- Basic accounting knowledge including understanding of PL, BS and CF statements
- Corporate Finance strategies, tools and techniques
- The role requires travel at times
- Good people management skills - in all directions, to all levels including senior Accenture management
- Strong project management skills
- Exhibits ability to articulate financial accounting and commercials to non-financial executives
- Good negotiation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills and a clear understanding of the needs of the target audience
