The Company
They are a market leader in their field of completing asset portfolio transactions. The company is unique in that they are able to help their household name clients improve the performance of their business through a combination of assistance with portfolio transactions and organic growth opportunities.
The Opportunity
Working in a small professional team, your role includes
- Identifying portfolios that clients may wish to acquire or sell
- Developing transaction ideas and presenting these to potential buy-side or sell-side Clients
- Introducing clients to prospective purchasers or sellers
- Assisting clients to work with endorsing organisations linked to the portfolio being acquired or sold
- Involved in managing the execution of transactions, including planning their approach to the transaction (acquisitions and sales) at the outset and taking day-to-day responsibility for execution through to completion.
- Co-ordinating the production of pitch books, information memoranda, offer letters.
- Reviewing financial models and producing and presenting valuations, together with associated commentary.
- Negotiating key commercial terms on transactions, including detailed legal documentation.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Clients and potential Clients.
What are they looking for
To be considered for this role you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Good academic background
- 3-5 years experience within business modelling, corporate finance or deal/transaction type work gained within a top 4 firm, boutique or investment bank
- Strong Excel skills is a pre-requisite
