Corporate Finance / M&A Analyst – Generalist recruitment
They hold expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financial restructuring, and valuation. Due to a strategic expansion in the UK, where they are already well established having had a presence here since 1996, they are looking to hire at analyst level in their MA division. The business focuses primarily on middle-market clients engaged in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures in a cross-boarder generalist capacity.
The role:
- Preparing, analysing and explaining historical and projected financial information.
- Coordinating and performing business due diligence
- Preparing confidential memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations
- Performing valuations
- Helping market and plan engagements
- Building relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and prospective clients
- Compile client presentations, conduct research and financial analysis
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualities and background:
- One or more years of Investment Banking experience at a top Bank or Boutique
- An undergraduate degree with academic distinction
- Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., a master’s in finance)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Extensive financial modeling experience
- Candidates with an advanced knowledge of accounting and finance will also be considered
