Corporate Finance & Valuations Analyst recruitment
Our client is a leading International Financial Institution with an enviable reputation as one of the regions key market players. Due to an internal move within the group an outstanding opportunity has been created for a suitably qualified candidate to join a dedicated team responsible for the review of all external transactions considered by the bank and ensuring the correct valuation techniques, internal review and due-diligence process is applied.
Specifically this role and team is designed to support both Group Strategy and the deal teams across the business execute acquisitions or develop organic growth strategies through the development of valuation models supported with relevant market comparables and expert industry knowledge. You will be required to build effective relationships with key stakeholders across the bank, ensuring valuation models are prepared in a consistent manner and in line with best practice. You will also manage the due-diligence process, which will include the development of Governance Structures, workstream scopes and management of the QA process. Strategic recommendations and independent advice will also be provided to the CFO and Senior Management across the business, ensuring they are equipped to make good investment decisions whilst minimising overall risk.
Commercial, confident and ambitious, you will demonstrate strong analytical skills and ideally have experience in a financial modelling / valuations role. This experience will ideally have been gained in an Investment Banking / Corporate Finance or MA role within either a professional services or banking/commercial environment. An understanding of banking products and services coupled with either a CA or CFA qualification will also be highly regarded.
