Corporate Finance – Valuations – Manager/Associate Director (Adelaide) recruitment
The Deloitte Corporate Finance Valuations team provides expert, independent valuation advice for transaction, financing, taxation, litigation and strategic management purposes. Our team operates as part of our global network and has access to the latest financial information, data, pricing and analysis for companies and industries around the world.
Due to continued growth in the Valuations team an opportunity exists for a talented, focussed and driven professional wanting to challenge themselves and maximise their career within a highly succesful environment - the largest corporate finance practice in Adelaide and the largest network of valuations professionals in Australia.
In your new role you will be involved in:
- Working as part of a specialist team to prepare valuations of shares, businesses, intangible assets and the preparation of Independent Expert's Reports
- Advising public and private company boards on transactions including divestments, acquisitions, mergers and capital raisings across a range of industries with a specific focus on valuation issues and considerations
- Preparation of valuation reports
- Liaising with other service lines within Deloitte including Corporate Tax and Audit on valuations for compliance and financial reporting purposes
- Indentifying and leading origination initiatives
- Preparing thought leadership on valuation issues.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate:
- Solid management experience in an professional environment, preferably in a Corporate Finance role with valuations experience
- Excellent analytical and corporate finance skills
- Well developed project management, communication and writing skills, including a track record of delivering outstanding client service
- Strong people management and engagement skills
- Good understanding of the Australian MA environment (public market, private company and private equity)
- Committed and enthusiastic attitude
- Completed (or commenced) a post-graduate qualification (e.g. CA, CFA, Finsia or MBA)
- Extensive relevant experience, including experience in a Corporate Finance or related environment.
