The Deloitte Corporate Finance Valuations team is a market leading valuation group in providing independent report for various market transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, valuation advice for taxation, financial reporting financing, litigation and strategic management and accounting purposes. 

Our team operates as part of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu's global network and has access to the latest financial information, data, pricing and analyses for companies and industries around the world.

Due to continued growth we currently have an opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as a Senior Analyst.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working as part of a team to value shares in a company, businesses, and other assets including inventory, intangible assets and certain financial instruments

• Preparing valuation reports including independent expert's reports

• Client liaison

• Assisting with marketing and business development initiatives

Ideally you will have some valuations experience or a few years experience in the financial services industry with outstanding academic results and have either completed your CA or be undertaking the CFA, Masters of Finance or the Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance through Kaplan. It is imperative that the successful candidates possess strong analytical and problem solving ability along with outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal). Your knowledge of market trends coupled with your strong business acumen will ensure success in this role.

To be successful in this role, you should have strong Microsoft Excel skills and be able to demonstrate an ability to conduct in-depth analysis of companies, effectively manage a diverse range of tasks/projects/client relationships with a hands-on approach from within a chartered or other interesting environment.
