Corporate Financial Analyst Job in Los Angeles, California US

A reputable entertainment company in Los Angeles is looking for a sharp Corporate Financial Analyst with strong financial modeling skills.

The Financial Analyst position is a broadly based role that will encompass all aspects of financial planning and analysis for the Company. This person will report to the Financial Planning Manager and interact heavily with key executives including the Company’s Controller, CFO and CEO.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Maintain and update Company valuation model

·         Prepare financial analysis on Company’s financial position and sales efforts (build dynamic Excel models, conduct sensitivity analyses)

·         Analyze results vs. budget, explain variances and highlight performance issues

·         Liase with investors and key contacts at banks, external valuators, and legal counsel as required

·         Ad hoc analysis as required

 

Qualifications:

·         4-year degree (Finance/Business majors preferred)

·         1-2 years of experience in corporate finance, banking, consulting or any other heavily analytical role

·         Excellent Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation skills

·         Solid knowledge of finance accounting

·         Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to problems

·         Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a strong attention to detail

·         Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
