Corporate Governance Research Analyst – Paris office (four months) recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Analyze corporate governance and financial information to write research reports on French- publicly traded companies
• Issue proxy vote recommendations for shareholder meetings of the portfolio of companies in your market
• Assist in engagement with companies and institutional investors
• Answer internal/external client/issuer queries on research reports
• Working on the rating products
Requirements:
• Strong analytical ability and financial understanding of investment issues
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in French and English
• Work independently and take initiatives but also is a team player, able to cooperate with the other team members
• Good eye for detail
• Organized and structured mind to deal with large quantities of work and strict deadlines
• Masters degree in Law and/or Finance, Economics or equivalent through experience
• Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience in corporate governance/investment analysis/ research with a focus on the French market
• Basic understanding of finance and capital markets
