Our client is active throughout the world as a leading player in the fields of compression technology, automation technology and drive technology. Business activities include key components / services for compressors, engines and turbo machines, hydraulic systems for vehicles and machine tools.

Corporate Head Learning Development (m/f)
Aim of the Role:
- Ensure the long-term availability of highly skilled employees, leadership effectiveness and adequate organizational capabilities
- Ensure the management of LD initiatives in order to establish an integrated Group approach to Personnel Development, Management Development and Organizational Development
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for Learning Development on corporate level; this includes:
- Leading the global LD organization
- Design LD Strategy based on People Strategy, HR Strategy and business requirements
- Ensure that the right talents are available at the right time at the right quantity at the right quality
- Monitor effectiveness of LD measures and initiatives
- Regularly review of existing LD programs
- Ensure analyses of training and development needs
- Develop and implement adequate programs and tools as well as evaluation of program and training providers
- Design Organizational Development and especially Change Management methodology
- Ensure the global HR Network is rightly skilled and supported to deliver the key LD processes such as Performance Management, People Development, Talent Management, Succession Management and Organizational Development
- Lead global HR projects related to LD, participate to related global HR Projects
- Mentor and coach the Business Unit LD responsible as well as the country organizations in LD questions
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration and post-graduate in HR Management; alternatively University degree in (Organizational) Psychology/Social Sciences with additional qualification in HR
- Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience as Head of a global L D organization
- 7-10 years of experience in people development within an international environment
- 7-10 years of experience in working with intercultural teams and organizations
- Strong communication skills desired
- Intercultural sensitive personality
- Stress-resistant personality with stamina
- Fluent English and German is an absolute must, further languages highly advantageous
