Employment Plus is in search of a motivated individual in Bloomington, IN to join a strong team of professionals in the role of Corporate Recruiter. This individual should be great with people, ready for an exciting challenge, and have the ability to problem-solve day to day business issues. This position will provide support on all phases of the recruitment process including sourcing, recruiting, candidate development, selection, interview preparation, and interview debrief.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities
- Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
- Source active and passive resumes and identify qualified applicants for open positions.
- Support the needs of geographically dispersed managers.
- Define applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications for job postings.
- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
- Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers.
- Assist with applicants’ interviews.
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of recruiting experience is preferred.
- Must have the ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Must have a strong work ethic and customer service focus.
- Oral and written communications are clear, concise, organized, and professional.
- Must be a self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be computer literate with high level of proficiency in all Microsoft Applications.
- Needs to be team minded and self-motivated with good judgment.
- High School Diploma required; College Degree is preferred.
