  1. Commercially available shrink wrapped products such as the Microsoft Office suite of applications;
  2. Corporately purchased applications such as PeopleSoft (Financial), Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint
  3. Internally developed applications for the entertainment industry;
  4. Other general technology training courses such as FTP transfers, Using Colour Printers and Scanners;
  5. Work with individuals to provide training on corporate applications required for them to efficiently perform their job functions.
  1. Using the course material developed from the applications listed in Area 1, design, plan and executes training sessions using training styles appropriate to the situation, e.g. classroom, seminar style or individual sessions;
  2. Source and supply help sheets to user, in either hard copy or via SharePoint;
  3. Procure all training equipment necessary (computers, audio visual, overheads, etc.) in advance of training sessions and ensure they are set up and working;
  4. Develop and source other training methodologies such as Computer Based Training (CBT), Interactive Distance Learning, and Web or Internet Based Training including being responsible for their successful implementation (if chosen) and troubleshooting PC performances;
  5. Work with Remote Offices to satisfy their user training needs by being familiar with the applications that each remote office uses, and structuring their training using the methods most appropriate, including a yearly visit where applicable.
  1. Develop, document and follow approved training project plans;
  2. Design layouts of training document contents;
  3. Write user manuals and training materials;
  4. Develop lecture, presentation and hands on course materials;
  5. Develop and maintain web-based online training materials using Microsoft Learning Content Development System (LCDS) and Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK);
  6. Coordinate training schedules;
  7. Conduct and manage all training programs from start to finish independently.
  1. Work with developers to understand applications;
  2. Work with users to understand their business processes and training requirements;
  3. Participate in the testing process of internally developed applications before they go into production;
  4. Develop help documentation and publish on SharePoint for internally developed applications;
  5. Develop and provide training for upgrade implementations or new software installations.
  1. Evaluate and/or recommend vendor training packages and services;
  2. Work with vendors to modify or design training programs to meet our needs as required;
  3. Take vendor application courses in order to deliver their training programs to our users customized to our environment. 
  1. Assist CTO with annual budgeting process for areas of responsibility;
  2. Control areas of responsibility and explain any deviation from approved budget;
  3. Receive prior approval for any expenditure that is not included in the budget;
  4. Approval of invoices up to Corporate guidelines.
