About our Client
Our client is a leading commodities trading house in the world with stable growth in the Chinese market. Our client is growing at a remarkable pace in China, through various MA activities. The role of Projects Integration Manager is a key function to contribute to the growth of the group in China.
Job Description
- Coordination of integration efforts Transaction closing: Coordinate efforts with various departments (Business Development, Legal, Industrial, Finance, Trading,..) to structure the organization , Participate to formalization of the Business Plan, Understand the Business Model of the MA projects, incl. the project return target and the key assumptions driving this return level
- Post- deal integration: Lead the project teams and stakeholders to define integration priorities and identify possible synergies or efficiency gain, in line with the regional integration methodology. Responsible for assuring various departments to deliver the integration initiatives and ensuring timeline is respected and milestones achieved
- Coordinate with various departments (platforms, logistics, controlling, risk management, treasury,..) and apply expert skills in communication, problem solving and analysis to facilitate and implement the Group processes and streamline the reporting needs in the new entity.
- Develop and implement best practice for JV management vis a vis fiduciary duties, partner relationship, governance, communication etc. provide adhoc helps to the new entity/JV to set up new processes
- Controlling of greenfield projects: Establish standards, tools and procedures for use on the project, including but not limited to: procurement approval, invoice approval, payment, etc.
- Ensure these policies are properly followed and adequate level of approval obtained. preparation of cost at completion
The Successful Applicant
- At least 6 years of working experience, in a relevant field: Business Development or MA function
- External Audit in one of the Big 4 Audit Company, for trading or industrial manufacturing companies
- Management consulting Prior experience in Post Merger Integration is required, as well as projects in JV context.
- Previous experience abroad and/or in a multicultural environment is also required.
