Corporate & Markets Graduate Programme – Corporate Finance M&A Opportunity recruitment
Your main tasks will include developing and updating financial and valuation models, assisting with the execution of sell- and buy-side transactions as well as helping senior bankers in the preparation of presentations to existing and potential clients
There will be an initial classroom-based graduate training programme for the first 6 weeks during which you will learn the key skills and tools used on a daily basis, and also meet other graduates from other departments within Commerzbank's Corporates Markets business division
Requirements:
- A prior internship in an MA department (bank, boutique or accountancy firm) is a must have requirement
- Ability to manage a consistently high work load (including ability to manage and prioritise a number of simultaneous tasks)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills (including a good understanding of general accounting standards and the ability to calculate financial and accounting ratios and a thorough understanding and application of the different methods of valuation techniques)
- Good research skills
- Good organisation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- A first-rate academic record
- Fluency in English and at least another European language
- Graduated in the last 12 months
- Available to attend an assessment centre in London in the first week of July
- Available to start by mid August 2012
