For one of our clients, a leading provider of wealth management, corporate and fund services, we are looking for a Corporate Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to take the responsibility over all legal aspects of a clients' portfolio including risk awareness, relationship management and contractual and statutory obligations.
The Responsibilities
•Administer and monitor all legal and administrative aspects of a client portfolio within the timescales set and agreed, investigating and suggesting enhancements where necessary, ensuring timely and effective client care
•Manage own billing and cash collection / debtors process and minimise write-offs where possible
•Complete the review process for client entities and be aware of risk exposure, including the fulfilment of responsibilities under the review procedures
•Awareness and adherence to contractual and statutory obligations under the Group’s policies, procedures and guidelines, including the Group’s core values and expected behaviours
•Check, maintain and ensure accuracy of the central diary system relevant to client portfolio managed, to ensure deadlines are recorded and subsequently achieved
•Maintain accurate and up to date records of client entities (including desktop), ensuring all statutory obligations are complied with
The Competencies
•You have the ability to take responsibility over a client portfolio and support the line manager and team where necessary
•You have excellent communication skills
•You have at least 2 years proven experience in tin a corporate legal role in Luxembourg
•ICSA qualification or a degree in Law would be considered a strong asset
•You are self-motivated, demonstrating an enthusiastic approach to ones daily duties
•You have the ability to take responsibility, prioritise and use initiative
•Responsible and able to get on with others as a team player, displaying approachability
•Good organisational capabilities, able to efficiently manage workload within given timescales
•Adept in the use of MS Windows, in particular Excel and Word
•Familiar with databases relevant to the financial services sector
