The business:
A privately owned and profitable, international hospitality business currently experiencing growth and change involving senior leadership changes, rebranding, restructure and extensive development of the finance function. They are looking to build the best finance team in the industry through attracting in top talent. The business has projected growth through increased market share and acquisition, and will be looking to list in the UK in the next two years.

The role:
The Corporate Planning Manager owns the corporate forecasting process; they are responsible for ensuring the production of a 15-month forecast on a monthly basis; coordinating the activities, establishing the timetable and producing the outputs. They will help create and embed new processes, tools and systems as well as provide training where required. They will work closely with the senior management team as well as the wider finance team.

Main Responsibilities:
Shaping and defining the new corporate forecasting process, assuming a leadership role in driving the process into the organization
Take personal responsibility for helping to drive the Commercial Finance team’s aspiration to be seen as trusted advisors to the business.
Assist the Commercial FD in the development of a new corporate rolling forecast process
Help the business identify performance issues/opportunities made known through the forecast process
Maintain enhance the 10 year model to provide a view of the future market value of the group.
Develop an appropriate BPM tool which allows online completion of forecast requirements by the hotels and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate:
Graduate calibre qualified accountant with first time passes, circa 4-6 years PQE and significant FPA / Commercial Finance background. Candidates are likely to have benefitted from a high level of financial training (for example a CIMA graduate programme, ACA training contract) and possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with both Finance and non-Finance partners.

We will be looking for candidates to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
• Experience working in a blue chip environment with best practice FPA processes
• Good Forecasting and Budgeting knowledge ideally experience of developing and implementing new forecasting processes
• Knowledge of BPM systems and their capabilities. Experience of implementing a true BPM system preferable but not essential.
• Hotel experience preferred but not essential
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to work closely with both Finance and non-Finance partners
• Strong modelling and general Excel skills
