Corporate Relationship Manager, Islamic Finance recruitment
Our client is a financial institution based in the Middle East and has been in the industry for more than four decades with operations in 25 countries. It is actively expanding its operations internationally to include new locations in Europe as well as Africa and South East Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and sustain a portfolio of corporate customers operating in the region
- Build long term relationships with sustainable growth in revenues
- Conduct strategic reviews with customers to assess their future financing needs and align the Bank's products accordingly
- Develop a strategy and an operational plan for ensuring achievement of asset expansion and revenue targets across Islamic financial products. These would include Musharakah, Mudarabah, Murabahah, Ijarah and Wadiah.
- Ensure provision of superior customer service
- Manage customer complaints and address these to the mutual satisfaction of the customer and the Bank
- Achieve profitable business transactions and capitalize on new areas of business opportunity while mitigating risk
- Research, create and follow up a target list for potential new business
- Gather all the required information that is needed to prepare and assess credit applications
- Manage the clients credit portfolios to ensure targets are met
- Review and manage overall quality of corporate portfolios
Requirements:
- 7 - 10 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years of Islamic Finance experience in the South East Asia region
- Good university degree in finance or business fields
- Excellent understanding of Islamic finance and products
- Distinguished sales skills and appropriate exposure to modern sales practices and techniques
- Effective communicator in any medium, both internally and externally
- Sound analytical, negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the Islamic banking industry in the region is essential
