An exciting opportunity has arisen in Brisbane for a Corporate Risk Analyst to join QIC’s Corporate and Operational Risk team. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Risk, you will directly contribute to the achievement of QIC’s strategic objectives by developing and maintaining an effective governance, risk and compliance framework and by providing sound advice and information to QIC’s investment and corporate teams.
This is a challenging role that requires strong communication and collaboration skills and represent sa rare opportunity to join a successful and experienced team. The key objectives of the role are to develop and maintain an effective governance, risk and compliance framework and related policies and processes. Identify and manage emerging and changing regulation that may impact QIC or our clients. Act as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders, providing them with sound and practical advice and information on corporate risk and compliance issues. Maintain effective compliance programs to allow QIC to demonstrate compliance with legal and regulatory obligations. Design and deliver practical training and communications on governance, risk and compliance issues to staff across QIC and promote a strong risk and compliance culture across the business.
Successful applicants will have:
- demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues
- Experience in analysing technical regulatory compliance issues and interpreting their impact on a diverse business
- Demonstrated ability to work proactively and collaboratively with others
- A background in Funds Management or Investment Banking
