Position Details
Summary
Employees in these positions are responsible for the consistency and accuracy of the financial statements for a specific section of the PL or CAPEX. This position is required to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of a specific section of the PL or CAPEX, including understanding the budget and forecast. The assigned section of the PL or CAPEX is complex and/or the scope of the assignment covers a significant range of accounts.
Responsibilities
- Month over month variance analysis
- Year over year variance analysis
- Actual versus forecast variance analysis
- Trend analysis
- Detailed transaction analysis
- Resolution and accounting for complex, non-routine transactions
Qualifications
Required
-Requires BS/BA in accounting, finance, or a related field and 5-8 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role OR MS/MA in accounting, finance, or a related field and 3-5 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role. Will consider ADDITIONAL related industry experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience in Accounting/Finance role in medium to large size company
- ERP experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
- SAGE experience
- Oracle GL experience
- Essbase experience
