Corporate Services Exec – Company Secretary (Legal Department) recruitment

A position has become available within our legal department for a Corporate Services Advisor. The role includes provision of support to the Corporate Services Team and to the Invesco Group under the supervision of the Invesco UK Ireland Legal Department with regards to registrations and ancillary corporate secretariat matters.

Specifically the role involves overseeing and co-ordinating the maintenance of the registration / notification processes and requirements of the various jurisdictions where the Invesco Global Product funds (existing and new) are already registered and implementing registrations / notifications in jurisdictions where the funds need to be registered for future distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
Utilising existing, and if necessary creating, relationships with external advisers (incl. legal counsel, administrators) and other Invesco offices in order to effectively implement, oversee and co-ordinate:
- Activities relating to the maintenance of the existing registration of Invesco’s Global Product Range in the EU, Asia and Asia Pacific regions including preparing and submitting and / or assisting with the collation of information for the submission of amendments / annual up-dates to such existing registrations;
- Preparing information and making applications / submissions to regulators to support the registration/ notification of new Invesco products/funds (“new  funds”) in the EU and assisting in the collation of information required for submission to support registrations in the Asia / Asia Pacific regions
- Setting up processes to ensure the maintenance of the registration/notification requirements applicable to the existing and new funds

- Supporting Legal and Compliance colleagues with the preparation of KIIDs and undertaking the submission of KIIDs to home and host state regulators
- The translation of the funds’ prospectuses and KIIDs relating to the GPR Funds
- Preparation of the Preparation of the minutes of weekly meetings relating to registrations / notifications and other relevant meetings as appropriate
Attending other meetings, where requested, and reporting regarding all matters relating to the funds’ registrations / notifications and other relevant matters
Supporting the Corporate Services Team including dealing with general corporate services queries relating to the funds, gathering and circulating industry knowledge and general administrative duties
Assisting, where time permits, with other Corporate Services Team activities such as board meetings and/or supporting BAU activities to enable other members of the Corporate Services Team to support the Business with Projects and on-going BAU
To follow (and develop if necessary) the Corporate Service team’s procedures to ensure the smooth running of the funds’ affairs, to include:
- Ensuring the timetables are followed and that board papers are issued to service standards and to report any likely failures to the Head of EMEA Legal in time for corrective action to be taken;
- Providing accurate and timely information to other members, in accordance with agreed deadlines
- Ensuring that all registration/notification applications are completed correctly, to a high quality and in a timely manner in accordance with the registration filing plan, which the job holder will assist in preparing.
Assisting with the preparation of any Senior Management Team/Management Team reports as required
