BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW
The goal of Corporate Services and Real Estate (CSRE) is to deliver a world class workplace to the people of Goldman Sachs. CSRE consists of two primary business functions:
• Business Services delivers quality, cost effective support to internal clients throughout Goldman Sachs. Its three business
units are Hospitality, Travel and Document Management.
• Real Estate plans, develops, builds and operates Goldman Sachs facilities in over 83 cities in 26 countries around the
world. Its two business units are: Strategy, comprising Planning and Transactions; and Operations, comprising Capital Projects and Building Operations.
These businesses are supported by the CSRE Finance team, which includes the disciplines of financial accounting and reporting, operations finance, procurement and contracts management and business planning; and the CSRE Administration and Communications team, which is responsible for organizational development and internal and client communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Asia Hospitality Operations Manager is a senior member of the Hospitality team with specific management responsibility for delivering excellence in Dining, Conference, and Reception Services in all offices in Asia.
• Deliver excellent client experience across all service delivery lines as part of an integrated global programme
• Work with the Head of Hospitality to develop and implement a hospitality strategy
• Lead operational vendor management, driving the seamless integration of vendor services in to a ‘one team’ model
• Build a culture of excellence within vendor population to mirror GS Culture – emphasis on ownership, responsibility commerciality and service excellence
• Develop and maintain client relationships with key stakeholders across the firm
• Meet internal client needs for a unique, superior and high quality service
• Manage financials and accounting, including monthly reporting
• Take a lead role on environmental management
• Be an ambassador for the CSRE brand and promote it through marketing communications

Basic skills
• Experienced operational manager with Industry experience of front of house hospitality
• Creative strategist and problem solver who delivers dynamic solutions
• Proven track record of delivering service excellence
• Strong commercial skills, with experience of marketing communications to internal and external audiences
• Experience in change management, with the ability to challenge the status quo and bring a fresh perspective
• Strong relationship management – ability to engage and influence partners and drive service excellence through these relationships
• Ability to develop credibility with clients at all levels within the Firm and with a diverse vendor population
• Excellent communication, presentation and strategic planning skills with strong emphasis on managing by objectives and performance measurement
• Experience aligning functional strategy with overall business strategy and/or client’s business strategy
• Ability to develop global internal relationships proactively and autonomously
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high quality standards
• Ability to lead and drive projects
• Ability to analyse and credibly present detailed financial data
• Ability to succeed in an environment where winning senior level client sponsorship and consensual stakeholder engagement is key
