RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES
XIFIN, Inc ® provides a web-based application that provides an accounts receivable and financial management solution for medical laboratories.
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer WORKSTATIONS, servers, hardware and computer peripherals. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Candidate must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in regards to Active Directory and networking. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Candidate will perform a variety of tasks; works under general supervision.
Specific duties include, but not limited to:
Ø Install and maintain PC hardware and software and provide assistance to users of varying technical abilities.
Ø Maintain and troubleshoot Exchange server, Windows file sharing/file rights (acl), Active directory.
Ø Creation and setup of virtual machines using VMware
Ø Respond to telephone calls, email and other requests for technical support
Ø Make modifications to Intertel Phone PBX (add and remove extensions and modify existing)
Ø Deploy, maintain, support and upgrade workstation, hardware, software, operating systems and networked printers
Ø Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory
Ø Work independently and in a team situation
Ø Communicate and effectively interaction with co-workers and managers
Ø Understand and follow oral and written directions
Ø Responsibilities include performing work in all operational and maintenance areas, depending upon the immediate needs of the company
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Ø May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Ø Standard understanding of TCP/IP and windows SMB networking
Ø Solid workstation configuration and troubleshooting of various Windows versions
Ø Comfortable with windows registry editing
Ø Comfortable with NTFS and its limitations and specifics
Ø Some experience installing and configuring, EXCHANGE, and single domain active directory
Ø Experience with and understanding of virtualization
Ø A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
Ø Batch file or VB script editing
Desirable:
Ø Intertel Phone system management
Ø MSCE (working towards)
Ø Windows XP/Vista/7 tuning and system performance monitoring
Ø Experience with sonasoft exchange replication software
Ø Experience with VMware ESX or ESXI, creating, deploying and installing OS's on VM's
