People within the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) organization are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  Typically, people in BPO are based permanently at a client location.  BPO helps clients develop and deliver business process innovations with cutting-edge outsourcing services. Responsible for training needs assessments, designing, developing and delivering quality new hire and continuing education/process improvement programs.  The Processor/Closer Trainer will use mortgage and/or classroom training experience to develop training methods and materials to effectively target audiences at a variety of levels within the organization including entry-level and advanced positions.

 

Essential Duties and

 

Responsibilities:

 

               Develop processes to deliver and evaluate training, as well as implement procedures to improve the training process.

               Champion consistent process across teams.

               Prepare and instruct Mortgage Loan Coordinator, Underwriter and Closer training classes; partnering with Retail, PPR, and QC segments to identify training opportunities.

               Keep abreast of corporate and client policies, guidelines, and procedures; making appropriate changes to training materials on an as needed basis.

               Create and/or maintain training schedules and database to monitor training activities, associate attendance, etc.

               Assist with preparation and/or facilitation of New Associate Orientation sessions.

               Assist Learning and Development Manager on special projects or corporate initiatives as needed/required.

 

Basic Qualifications: 

 

               Minimum of 5 years of fulfillment delivery either in a processing or closing role

 

Preferred Skill Requirements:

 

               Underwriting experience

               3+ years of training experience

 

Professional Skill Requirements:

 

               Knowledge of end-to-end mortgage fulfillment process

               Demonstrated ability to train people with a wide variety of technical and non-technical skills and backgrounds; adept at getting and maintaining the attention and involvement of classroom participants

               Exceptional communication, articulation and interpersonal skills

               Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.

               Strong project management and organizational skills.

               Must demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative and teamwork in dealing with daily responsibilities 

               Ability to work independent with time management to deliver on production goals.

               Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming compliance policies
