Corporate Treasurer for a Commodity Conglomerate
Our client is a renowned and fast growing Commodity Conglomerate. It is now looking to hire a senior treasury professional for a Head of Treasury at the corporate level covering both its upstream and downstream commodity business.
For this role, you will report to the Gp CFO and will be responsible for managing/overseeing all financial management, planning and investments for the Group.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Responsible and oversees all activities regarding the cash management and forex hedging of the Group.
- Oversees activities within investment portfolio management, credit management and risk management.
- Plan and develop an in-house bank operation to optimize the liquidity sources within the various operating units of the Group.
- Manage corporate debt and maintain cost effective financing for corporate projects.
- Work closely with the legal department, finance and accounting teams to ensure that the Company’s financial goals are met.
- Group liaison with the banks.
Job requirements
- Masters in Financial Management or similar. CFA is an advantage. Min 20 years of total work experience is required
- Experience in Treasury including cash management and money market operations
- Experience in the commodity space with assets is preferred. Prior treasury experience in banking is also preferred
- Possess AL mgt, Fx Trading, Cash Management
- Shows initiative and drive and leadership skills
- Good problem solving skills
