This is a key position for our client within their profitable corporate Treasury Services group. This position is an initial 12 month contract role, as the role has become available due to the requirement to cover maternity leave.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior level relationship manager to work within an important treasury services client group within this global financial services business. Strong corporate treasury sales and/or relationship management experience is the main criteria.
For this position our client is seeking an applicant with a strong relationship management focus, and ideally several years of experience within corporate treasury or corporate banking.
This is a reasonably senior level 12 month contract position, and the focus of the role will be maintaining relationships with treasury services clients, and there will be a small amount of business development [i.e. sales] and follow up work required as part of the role. Although given this is only an interim contract, we would expect the role will be more focused on relationship management rather than new business generation.
Experience within corporate treasury would include coordination for trade finance queries, payments and corporate loan coordination. Our client will be especially interested in applicants with some direct corporate banking or treasury services experience. This role will work in close support of external Treasury Services clients, who are generally large corporate and interbank clients. Clients are based primarily in Sydney and Melbourne.
The salary for this role will be variable depending on the experience of the successful applicant, although we expect in the region of $120-155k +super.

Responsibilities:
- Develop close and deep relationships with relationship, product management and operational managers within client organizations.
- Calling clients daily via phone or in person (some travel required).
- Understand and maintain up to date and current knowledge of client requirements.
- In conjunction with Client Service Managers prepare client contact/visit plan to ensure regular contact with existing clients
- Prepare client calls and ensure all follow up items are entered on CRM system and monitor follow up items to ensure that follow up is completed within allocated time frames.
Requirements:
- 8-12 years experience in Payments, Trade Finance and SWIFT.
- Strong experience with treasury services and/or corporate banking.
- Exceptional client services and relationship management experience.
- Good understanding of credit issues and ability to prepare credit submissions.
