Cost Accountant- Contract- Dublin recruitment
A cost accountant is required by a high-tech engineering company, based inDublin.
This report reports directly into the Finance Director.
This is a contract role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Focusing on overheads and expenses for the company
- Analyze capital budgeting requests
- Activity based costing , for the company as a whole, and reporting into the management accounts
- Forecasting and budgeting month end and quarterly requirements.
- Investigating inventory cycle deficits as well as all inventory related errors.
- Looking at costing accruals and costing variances.
- Other month end at hoc requirements.
Required:
- Qualified accountant with 1-3 years PQE
- Experience in a manufacturing company or in a production environment.
- Solid business acumen , with strong excel skills
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to reach month end deadlines.
This is a contract role, with view to permanency , and comes with a solid remuneration package.
