Cost Accountant
- Daily Activities:
- Monthly Activities (must be completed before the last day of each month)
- Annual Activities (must be completed before December 25th)
- Bachelor’s degreeor equivalent business and data experience.
- 1 + years of standard costing experience
- 1 + year of experience in SAP or similar ERP system
- 1 + year of general accounting experience
- Ability to follow specific procedures for SAP Standard Costing
- This position requires the skill set to master the airline catering processes, materials, menu specifications (includes beverage, snack, sandwich, complete cold/hot meal menus), Unit financials/budgets, SAP/Financials, SAP/Controlling,, SAP Materials Master, SAP Production Planning Bill of Materials (includes food, equipment and transportation BOMs), SAP-Production Planning—Routings, SAP Catering Point Calculation and SAP/Controlling-Profitability Analysis
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Expert level spreadsheet skills (MS Excel)
- Relational database query skills a plus (MS Access or Oracle)
- Ability to provide Basic SAP and SAP Standard Costing training to other groups
- Must be able to clearly communicate with the ASG, Industrial Engineering, Unit Operations, and Account Manager groups to request and obtain master data critical for SAP Standard Costing requirements.
