Cost Accountant Job in New York 10167, New York Us
A well-known retail/consumer products company is looking for a smart, detail-oriented cost accountant to join its New York team. The principal responsibilities and duties of the person in this position will be: Review and update Standard Costs Maintain the accuracy of BOMs Roll standard cost and BOMs Weekly inventory posting and related GL analysis Manage Physical Inventory Counts with warehouses, prepare adjustments and reconciliations Inventory control and management including variances investigation and proper adjustments PO receipts Complete item and new account set ups Work with Sr. Accounting Manager on Monthly Closing, provide monthly inventory analysis as well as review Cost of Sales accounts for reasonableness
