Finesse Solutions, Inc. provides novel measurement and control solutions to life science customers. Finesse is actively recruiting for an experienced Cost Accounting to work from our San Jose, CA location.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts
- Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
- Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by GAAP
- Make recommendation for obsolete inventory and warranty reserve
- Report on margins by custom product and product line
- Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost
- Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close
- Reconciles finished goods inventories as part of the month-end close
Qualifications:
- A BS degree in Accounting with 5 to 10 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with standard costing in a manufacturing environment is an absolute must
- Ability to collaborate with a multi-department team
