Cost Accountant recruitment
Key responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely monthly cost centre information to business users.
- Liaise with other finance teams to enable timely submission of various entities as part of the monthly consolidation process.
- Intercompany reconciliatons and payments.
- Maintaining the integrity of data within the Group general ledger systems via the monthly reconciliation process.
- Maintaining accuracy of accurals and prepayments.
- Accounting of US and UK costs.
- Developing an understanding of the major drivers within the UK cost base and being able to identofy and explain trends.
- Understand and submit Fixed assets for UK, US and Asia.
- Accurately identify and account for project costs.
- Collective ownership of the global cost allocation model.
Person Profile:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills including Excel, with Oracle, HPCM and HFM experience.
- Diligent, accurate and aware of a control environment.
Education and Skills:
- Qualified accountant
- Degree
