Cost Analyst recruitment
Our client, an Irish based firm located in Dublin 2 is seeking to recruit a Qualified Accountant for a Cost Analyst position within their expanding consulting business. Operating in the healthcare sector, our client is in strong growth mode and is eager to recruit a strong Analyst with activity based costing experience. You will be qualified with strong communication skills for working in a consultancy capacity and will provide detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis to a variety of clients, along with recommendations in order to add value to their business models and increase efficiencies across their businesses.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce concise and timely management reports that aid decision making
- Assist in the development of an Activity Based Costing model to measure and analyze business activities and volumes that drive workload and cost to serve
- Proactively identifying opportunities to leverage cost model-produced data in business decision making or extensions of cost analyses
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts for senior management
- Develop capabilities across the business to accurately predict cashflow forecasts
- Provide management with accurate, timely and insightful reports and commentary that drive business performance to include (but not limited to) month end reports / weekly flash reports
- Control/Reporting and Analysis of KPI variances
Profile of ideal candidate:
- Recently qualified Accountant with experience in developing costing models
- Experience delivering cashflow, PL and Balance Sheet to senior management
- Experience dealing with revenue returns
- Ambitious, motivated and highly analytical with an ability to disseminate complex data and provide consultants and clients with comprehensive analysis into productivity, product quality and performance etc.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage large amounts of data
- Prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Effective team player with strong communication skills
- Excellent IT skills, in particular Excel, and experience utilising SQL, SAS, Java tools an advantage
- Project management skills /experience an advantage eg PRINCE2
