A fantastic opportunity to join a large, international shipping company servicing the oil and gas industry.
This multinational shipping company services the oil and gas industry throughout the world. TheSingaporeoffice is a vital component to their global offering and as such has seen an increase in headcount over the past 12 months.
As the Cost Controller, you will be directly responsible for annual budget, monthly rolling forecast and monthly financial review. You will also be involved in controlling vessel operating expenses including capex and revenue. In this role you will also be responsible for reviewing contracts (ensuring compliance), maintaining accurate company records on cost expenditure and managing all discrepancies (working with internal HR/Finance/Operations teams).
The successful candidate will have…
- Degree in Accounting/Commerce
- 5 years experience in cost control/accounting/management reporting
- Strong analytical skills - strong attention to detail
- Ideally experience within shipping though not essential
- Excellent communication skills - able to work in a collaborative, mature environment
