About the role
We are seeking a Costing Analyst to join our Market Operations Technology Finance team in Sydney for a 12 month opportunity. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for monthly management reporting and analysis, together with assisting with ad hoc tasks and duties.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Production of Profit Loss Report by Service (Service PL) each month including detailed analysis to cost pool owners (expenses, recoveries and net positions)
- Participation in forecasting process
- Ensuring expense and time allocations are accurate and updated regularly
- Working with business leaders to discuss financial performance and identify anomalies
- Assist in interpretation of the Service PL and provide commercial insight to business leaders
- Further develop and improve timeliness and accuracy of reporting
- Work across Finance on process improvement initiatives
- Ad hoc reporting
About you
To be successful, you will be an astute Costing Analyst with experience within a major corporate. You will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You will also have:
- CA / CPA qualification
- Demonstrable relevant experience within a similar capacity - those from Technology will be favourably regarded
- TM1 System exposure
- Advanced Excel and database skills
- Strong client service focus and willingness to respond to queries and provide deliverables within prompt timeframes
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with commercial acumen
- Attention to detail
