Cost/Management Accountant

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant/Cost Accountant who is looking for a challenging and rewarding permanent role in a successful company in the Plymouth area.

The job will include Management Accountant tasks, but the majority of it will be complex analysis and costing work. This means that people applying for this role must have this experience and can hit the ground running, as there won't be much training, except on a high scale.

The successful candidate will posses the following skills:
Strong in Excel - spreadsheets is essential
Likely to be part qualified, possibly CIMA though not essential.
Some general accounting experience as well as sales/purchase ledger work as there will be a range of duties to cover.
Need to have an inquisitive, open mind, be able to communicate effectively, ability to work with people throughout the organisation.
Ability to work under own initiative.
Has a strong background in costings and analysis work.
