The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is responsible for performing treatment programs developed by the Occupational Therapist, documenting treatment, attending team meetings, and participating in continuing education.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Licensure/ Certification/ Registration: Requires current Texas licensure (COTA), and CPR certification.
Education: Requires graduation from an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Experience: One year of COTA experience is preferred.
