Count Room Specialist
Position Summary:
Responsible for dropping BV's from the slot machines. Accurately counting the funds from Table Games, Slots, Kiosks, and FB.
Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Ameristar Casino. Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity. Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures, including but not limited to: Standards of Conduct, attendance, appearance, cash handling, confidentiality, safety, and sanitation. Drop bill validators from the slot machines. Counting the revenues from all departments in the casino, both gaming and nongaming. Completing reported drop totals accurately. Proper transport of reported numbers to the audit department and IRGC.
Compensation: $10.20 / Hour
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required Knowledge and Skills: Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work and communicate effectively with little supervision or as a team. Required Natural Behaviors: Ability to follow all policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policies Ability to identify circumstances or incidents that require the notification and/or approval of others Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency Excellent Guest service skills; maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate friendliness and enthusiasm Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including standing for long periods of time
Required Education and Work Experience: Cash handling experience preferred Prefer some previous knowledge of slots and casinos
Must be 21 or over
