Join our team and let Graybar work to YOUR advantage! THE REQUIREMENTS * Sell merchandise to customers over counter, utilizing knowledge of product sold. Suggest selections that meet customers needs, and emphasize selling points of article such as quality and utility. Prepare sales slip. Receive payment or obtain credit authorization. * Place new merchandise on display. * Review and maintain counter inventory levels. * Recommend new stock items by completing necessary forms. * Maintain security of cash drawer and shipping ticket audit copies. * Perform other duties as assigned. SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. Experience: One to three years related sales and warehouse experience preferred. Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of warehousing and office routing procedures preferred. Ability to work with customers. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; Some overtime required (Note: The normal work schedule may vary depending on location.)
