Description
Job Purpose: To manager divisional country procurement projects and compliance, and assure supply and maximize value from third party spend.
Major Accountabilities:
- Helps define country procurement strategy.
- Ensures the optimum implantation and value creation of global category strategies in country.
- Creates local spend transparency, identifies cost reduction opportunities, and builds and maintains local supply market knowledge.
- Manages demand, clarifies specifications and prepares requests for quotations; negotiates, selects, and identifies most appropriate suppliers (price, quality, condition) in collaboration with requesting department.
- Actively engages with and secures support from key local stakeholders.
- Manages supplier relationships and performance; monitors supplier compliance.
- Deliver benefits from local Procurement projects; monitors and reports progress.
- Manages the administrative flow of the Procurement policies.
- Monitors compliance and adheres to company’s Procurement policies and procedures.
- Supports the country organization to drive continuous improvement, promoting best practice sharing, bench marking, market intelligence, etc.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Achievement of local savings targets
- Share of volume through e-sourcing
- Compliance to mandated processes and guideline (CC5, etc)
- Meeting key milestones in implementation of projects in accordance with pre-defined timelines, activity plans, and expected quality.
- Local supplier performance and delivery
- Quality of supply market and opportunity analysis
