Country Manager – Benelux (Netherlands)
Online Gaming Giant looking to appoint a Country Manager for the Benelux region to be based in Netherlands. If you have a strong track record of success in online gaming, speak Dutch to native level and have broad experience of legal/technical/marketing/compliance etc then get in touch
Key Responsibilities
PL responsibility for the market
Manage all aspects of operating in a regulated jurisdiction including
legal/finical/technical/operational/marketing compliance, business relationships with authorities and lobbying
Develop strategic plans for the development of acquisition marketing activities across Benelux
Provide effective research audit of market potential, key barriers to entry, consumer insights, competitive
reporting other key marketing requirements
Liaise with product and payments team on localisation including translation of website, assessment of
payment processing options, etc
Develop, structure lead commercial relationships with 3rd parties at the local level, in particular large
media groups, to create promotional opportunities
Co-ordinate all activities, policies and procedures with other parts of the organisation including the legal,
technology, creative, affiliate, PR retention teams
Undertake rigorous pre and post initiative analysis to provide campaign ROI, CPA and learnings for future
activity
Manage budgets for territory and oversee the local media and PR agency where appropriate
Develop and execute plans for cross promotions between online and live operation
Skills and Capabilities
University educated
Should speak fluent French, Dutch (native), English. Other languages would also be a bonus
Proven track record in the gaming industry ideally working for a B2C online operator
Strong knowledge of the local media landscape including proven track record of working with local media/
PR agencies and media owners
Excellent analytical skills. Strong written communication skills also a must
Must be results driven and able to able to develop and implement practical ( quick) decisions
Well-organised, ability to multi task and prioritise key projects. Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing
business environment is key
Strong negotiation skills required with an eye for detail in the structure of all deals
Strong people management skills
Good all-round marketing skills and understanding/experience of European media markets
Ability to function as a self-starter with an emphasis on getting things done
Experience of, and interest in Poker would be an added advantage
