Ramirent Denmark is now looking for a Country Sourcing Manager. The position is based at their headquarter located in Greve, Copenhagen.

COUNTRY SOURCING MANAGER, DENMARK

THE CURRENT SITUATION WITHIN SOURCING AT RAMIRENT:

Ramirent started implementing a new Sourcing Model (incl. new sourcing organization) in the beginning of 2011, where the vision is to boost Ramirent’s sourcing performance to world-class in order to capture the existing opportunities. The Sourcing Model focuses initially on non-fleet spend and is implemented in several countries at the same time and driven by the Group Sourcing function.

 

To be able to build up a world-class sourcing organization, Ramirent is aware that it is necessary to focus on people with extraordinary capabilities. This applies to both Group staff and the sourcing roles in the different countries, which are responsible for implementing and adjusting the sourcing model in the country organizations. In that context we are now looking for a Country Sourcing Manager for our Danish operations. He or she will report directly to the Senior Vice President Denmark and will as well be a part of Ramirent Denmark´s Management team, he or she will in function report to the Group Sourcing Director (responsible for non-fleet spend).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COUNTRY SOURCING MANAGER DENMARK:

-   Management of Ramirent Denmark’s total non-fleet spend (~15 MEUR) including 
    the achievement of targets for cost savings, compliance etc.

-   Being direct supervisor of sourcing staff, which shall be located in the Danish
    organization and still have to be defined.

-   Active participation in the further development of Ramirent’s new Sourcing Model,
     especially the breakdown into country related details.

-   Implementation of Ramirent’s new Sourcing Model into the Danish organization, 
    which includes, besides Ramirent´s sourcing strategy and objectives, the elements: 
    organization governance, processes, tools (e.g. P2P, e-Sourcing, spend and
    benefits tracking) and capability development.

-   Carry out yearly re-occurring category action planning for Denmark in coordination
     with the respective Category Managers which includes spend data quality
     improvement, benefit potential estimation, feasibility evaluation, resource
     allocation and target setting.

-   Driving personally the most strategic development projects and sourcing cases for
     Ramirent Denmark; this includes representation of Ramirent Denmark´s roll-out 
     of the new Group wide ERP system.

-   Alignment of Group Sourcing targets with Ramirent Denmark´s sourcing targets.

-   Representing Denmark in Ramirent’s Group Sourcing Committee.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a person with three to seven years of experience of strategic sourcing – preferably within a matrix organization of an international company, alternatively in strategic consulting related to sourcing or procurement. The candidate has an academic degree within the area of Supply Chain Management or similar directions.

 

The right candidate has a mindset to drive change and does not expect to come to a set table but is willing to make a true personal impact.

 

Very strong analytical skills and a strategic way of thinking are required. The candidate has additionally a good understanding of how to implement organizational transformations, which requires a “can do” attitude and good hands-on skills.

Further, the candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills, is highly interested in developing others and has previously displayed excellent leadership skills. 

Negotiation skills are also a must.

 

Great presentation skills and a convincing attitude are crucial for this position.

 

International experience would be considered an advantage. Fluency in Danish and English is required.
