The Supervision, Regulation Credit (SRC) Department, Community Regional Unit is seeking Community Regional (Quality Control) Examiners and Community Regional Sr. Examiners.  Successful candidate will be Responsible for assisting in the effective oversight of the quality control function to ensure adherence to departmental and Board mandated policies and procedures with respect to the examination process.  Also, active participant in the development, monitoring, and conduct of internal training initiatives.  CR (QC) Examiner and CR (QC) Sr. Examiner positions will be located in Richmond, VA.
 
Requisitions #224686 and #224688 represent 4 openings on the team.  Specific job title assignment (i.e. CR Sr. Associate, CR Examiner or CR Sr. Examiner) will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications/experience.  The deadline for applying on line is 5:00PM on Monday, November 28, 2011.  The selected candidates are subject to special background check procedures. 
 
Special Considerations:
·         An applicant posting for employment as a Federal Reserve examiner must be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent residence visa/Green Card and be an intending citizen.
·         Under conflict of interest guidelines administered by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, examining personnel may not participate on an examination of a financial institution or affiliate if the examiner was employed by the financial institution or affiliate within the past 12 months.

Salary Details – CR QC Examiner:
·         The market range is $69,258 - $108,216, annually.
·         The hiring range is $69,258 - $86,573, annually.

·         The market range is $84,718 - $132,372, annually.
·         The hiring range is $84,718 - $105,898, annually.
 
Specific Job Responsibilities – CR QC Examiner (include but are not limited to the following):
·         Assist with the management of and participates in the process for verifying the accuracy of workpapers and their consistency with examination findings.
·         Participate in the reviews of examination reports prior to issuance to the Report Processing Unit to determine compliance with Board and Reserve Bank policies and procedures.
·         Review reports of examination to determine if any wording, grammar, tone, accuracy, or consistency edits are required.
·         Provide ongoing and timely feedback to staff regarding the nature of edits required during review of examination reports and workpapers.
·         Communicate routinely with report typists, supervisory examiners, and management to discuss examination format and insures the timely review and delivery of examination reports.
·         Formulate modifications to procedures or policies that will enhance the examination report documentation and writing process.
·         Maintain awareness of developments regarding quality assurance, identifies opportunities for improvement, and incorporates changes to enhance the ongoing quality control process.
·         Participate in examiner training by assisting with the development of training/guidance material, conducting internal training activities, and occasionally participating on field examinations.
·         Ensure compliance with department database requirements.
·         Participate on System, Bank and/or Department projects and workgroups.
·         Communicate with Supervisory team, especially the Examiner in Charge, BKSR management, and Board staff.

·         Communicate with Supervisory team, especially the Examiner in Charge, BKSR management, and Board staff.

Qualifications/Experience – CR QC Examiner:
·         Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Management, or related field.  Minimum 6 credit hours of Accounting preferred.
·         4 to 7 years of bank regulatory or equivalent experience.
·         Must be willing and able to travel overnight, averaging 25 - 50 percent.
