Qualifications: - 8-10+ years experience in a creative leadership role - Demonstrate award winning creative abilities - Demonstrate forward thinking creative approaches - Demonstrate ability to interpret clients objectives in a visually compelling way - Demonstrate the understanding of branding, marketing and business strategies - Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects with differing and aggressive timelines/expectations Duties: Turner Studios, a division of Turner Broadcasting, offers a vast range of comprehensive media services by award-winning talent in design, production, post-production, visual effects and content creation. We create content and imagery for on-air, off-air, print and digital platforms. Our clients include all Turner properties domestically and internationally including, but not limited to, CNN, Cartoon Network, TBS, TNT, TruTV, and Turner Sports. Additionally, we produce projects for clients outside the Turner family when feasible. We currently have an open position for Creative Director. The creative director is responsible for developing design concepts and workflow, overseeing multiple projects, and managing the teams assigned to the projects as it pertains to interpreting and executing the clients vision/messaging. It is incumbent upon the creative director to be responsible for managing the client relationship for all things creative. The creative director is expected to be well-versed in each of the following disciplines; art direction, design, storyboarding, 2D and CG animation, visual effects, live action, production and sound design. S/he is to drive the collaborative efforts of each project's creative, production and technology teams, and inspire all involved to exceed expectations. S/he is expected to participate in new business development efforts, including presentations and panel discussions, develop solid business relationships, and cultivate external business where appropriate. Responsibilities include: - Conceive, articulate, pitch and defend the conceptual direction - Foster creative excellence and actively contribute to a culture of innovation - Develop design solutions that fulfill strategic business objectives - Direct all phases of creative from concept through production - Participate in new business development efforts, including presentations and speaking engagements - Grow new business and develop solid business relationships - Cultivate external business relationships - Mentor junior creative staff and participate in performance reviews. - Inspire and motivate creative teams Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers.
