Creative Services Manager Job in Roanoke, Virginia Us
Ply Gem Windows Group, a member of the Ply Gem family, is currently searching for a Creative Services Manager who has a proven track record of creativity and ability to come up with new, compelling campaign ideas. This position will be based at our plant located in Roanoke, Virginia.
Position Functions Include:
- Responsible for day-to-day management of internal Creative Services staff (Graphic Designer, Multi-media Designer and Copywriter)
- Oversee production of materials and enforce creative timelines
- Implement best practices in communications across all marketing projects and make recommendations for improvement
- Create new tools, systems and processes that enable the team to effectively create and deliver marketing projects
- Conduct and lead creative meetings with product marketing teams to launch new large-scale marketing projects
- Collaborate with Director, Brand Marketing and product marketing teams to ensure flawless execution and on-time delivery of creative projects
- Manage the process for execution of all marketing projects including sourcing, project approval, prioritization and delivery
- Oversee the creation of online offline marketing projects including collateral, signage, e-marketing campaigns, packaging, web design, photo shoots, etc.
- Ensure projects/plans are high-quality, leveraging best practices in communications, and within budget and timeline
Skills and education required:
- Bachelor Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism or related field or equivalent combination of related work experience
- At least 5 years of agency or in-house experience
- Knowledge of pre-press, printing, paper types, inks, and how they affect design and print production
- Strong software experience, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and high-level knowledge of web, video production and graphic design packages including Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Strong organizational skills
- Creative talent management
- Technical knowledge of the printing process and online applications
- Experience with delivery of all media types
- Resilience and adaptable to change
