Creative Technology Lead Job in Boston 02109, Massachusetts Us

Mullen is seeking a Creative Technology Lead for a role in our expanding Boston Digital team.

The ideal candidate will be equal parts creative collaborator, technical problem solver and thought leader. A rock-solid background with both front-end and back-end development is a given, with a preference for lightweight, open source frameworks and social technologies and APIs. Beyond just technical proficiency, candidates must demonstrate a creative spark and the ability to collaborate effectively with art directors, writers, user experience designers, and all other creative thinkers in the building.

This position is split between hands-on development, creative collaboration, managing the technical details of a large piece of business, and mentoring other developers on the business. A good portion of your day will be spent using your knowledge of technology to make Mullen's creative output better and more innovative. Projects will range from large content websites to web applications to accessibility to social media and beyond.

As a lead role, some experience is expected in mentoring small, project-based teams of developers and the day-to-day technical issues that arise on projects. You should be comfortable assisting developers and sharing your knowledge with others. The ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with colleagues at varying levels of technical knowledge is a must. This is a client facing role.

You should be comfortable working with producers and account service teams to inform scopes of work, timelines and estimates as they relate to technology and development. Experience working with producers or project managers in this capacity is highly preferred; you will be spending a lot of time with them.

Above all, you will have the freedom, as well as an expectation, to bring creative insight combined with deep technical knowledge to every initiative you participate in. Mullen is a creatively charged agency. If you're a creatively charged developer, we'd like to talk to you.
