Credentialing Manager - Lakewood CO

This position verifies and processes required credentials for all contracted providers and hospitals in compliance with CMS requirements, adhering to all laws and regulations, accreditation and licensure requirements as well as internal policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Write and implement new policies and procedures as necessary to maintain compliance with all CMS requirements. Manage all aspects of the credentialing/re-credentialing process for Nephrology Practice Solutions to include: Initiate the credentialing/re-credentialing, Visa documentation, and licensing process for all contracted NPS providers Compile and process credentialing data in compliance with Federal, State, Regional and NPS requirements through timely verification of physician/facility credentials according to NPS Policies and Procedures Conduct on-site audits for delegated contracted provider groups Act as liaison between medical centers, hospitals, medical offices, credentials and privileges coordinators, and the NPS offices. Ensure consistent documentation and complete verification of physician and facility credentials Provide required documentation to appropriate managers and committees Conduct required investigations into applicants background, education and experience Prepare reports reflecting credentialing results as requested Develop and maintain a computerized database of physician data for use in the Credentialing/Re-credentialing process and appointment Consistently support Code of Conduct by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licensure requirements (if applicable) Maintain current industry knowledge of changes in laws and regulatory requirements Here is what you can expect when you join our Village as an: A "community first, company second" culture based on Core Values that really matter.
