Credit Analysis (Commodity Finance) -Associate to Assistant Manager
Our client is a major international bank with diverse businesses across the region. It promotes diversity, talent development and retention. It is expanding and is looking to recruit a dynamic credit analyst to join their Commodity Finance team.
You will be performing the following –
- Uses all available resources to prepare credit proposals for new transaction, administrative renewal, amendments and waivers, to present a balanced risk analysis of the counterparty and transaction in a critical and concise manner
- Manage the workflow to ensure that transaction deadlines are met, administrative review of credit files are promptly made
- Possess adequate working knowledge of the Bank's internally developed models/tools relative to risk ratings, recovery rates, and risk adjusted returns
- Sees to it that all parties that needs to be involved in the credit application process (Business Lines and Risk Management) are promptly informed and the nature/extent of their involvement made clear
- Interacts with Risk Management during credit approval process to ensure all questions and have been satisfactorily addressed
You will have at least 2 – 6 years of relevant experience in credit risk analysis in financial institutions and/or accounting firms. Possess sound knowledge of banking practices, products, services and operation of other departments as well as relevant legislation, statutory and regulatory requirements within the Commodity finance area. Strong business communication skills are essential.
