Credit Analyst
Calling all Credit Analysts!!! Excellent Opportunity to work for a leading boutique Asset Manager based in the City.
My client is an award winning Asset Management house who was established in 1990 and has become one of the most successful Asset Managers in the City. The business has grown considerably of recent years but has maintained a very boutique feel to the business.
The Credit/ Fixed Income team has seen significant growth recently and is the fastest growing team within the business; hence they are looking to recruit an experienced/ senior Credit Analyst to join the small/ established team.
As a Credit Analyst you will work very closely with Investment Directors/ Fund Managers and other Credit Analysts within the Fixed Income/ Multi Asset team providing high level analytical research to the Fund Managers on a daily basis. Working within a small team you will assist with a variety of tasks so this is an excellent opportunity to work for market leaders within the Credit markets.
Further duties of the Credit Analyst will include:
-Providing credit analysis focusing predominately on the international Bond market
-Working closely with Fund Managers and Investment Directors assisting with detailed analysis and assisting with preparing presentations for marketing propositions
-Attending company meetings with the Investment team both internally and externally
-Completing in-depth analysis across all sectors which are driven by portfolio considerations, news and the global economy
-Discussing analysis with other members of the team and sharing ideas
-Maintaining and updating the internal database with credit information on corporate issuers
-Maintenance of spread sheets to monitor/ analyse portfolios as required
-Ad-hoc project work required by the Credit Team/ Investment Directors
The successful Credit Analyst will have the following skills and competencies
-You MUST have a wealth of experience gained as a Credit Analyst/ Research Analyst from either an Investment Manager or Investment Bank with a solid knowledge of credit analysis
-You MUST have excellent working knowledge of Fixed Income/ Credit/ Debt instruments
-You MUST have a very good working knowledge/ understanding of international Economics
-You will have a Degree in Economics, Maths, Finance, Business or equivalent
-Ideally you will be IMC/ CFA qualified or have a willingness to achieve one of these qualifications
-You will have the ability to produce clear/ documented analysis and financial modelling
