Credit Analyst
The Credit Analyst will assess credit quality and compliance with credit policies and procedures in Business Units that are reviewed. Analyst will present a written analysis of relevant issues and conclusions. and will complete special projects that may be part of a credit review and assist in the preparation of review reports. He/She will conclude on the appropriateness of the Obligor Risk Ratings assigned by the business unit to its names/counterparties.
Position requires 5 years Credit Risk experience working in a large financial institution as a Credit Analyst; Master's degree preferred. Individual will have strong credit skills with experience in identifying, assessing and understanding risks, ideally across a broad array of different asset classes and businesses. Experience with and knowledge of with credit policies and procedures, risk monitoring and controls found in large financial institutions. Non-US credit experience is a plus. Strong writing and negotiating skills are required. Previous experience as an auditor or in a credit audit function preferred.
