Credit Analyst 3
Responsible for analyzing complex companies and industries and conducting presentations on findings to senior management. Functions include: conducting complex credit investigations and analyzing diverse credit information for loans; analyzing/formalizing documentation of loan transactions and/or credit history of customers; assisting in preparation of credit reports for presentation to lending officers and/or approval committees; performing research/analysis related to projects such as industry studies and management reports. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years credit analysis experience. Minimum Qualifications: Location is flexible, position can be located in either Charlottesville or Fredericksburg. Minimum qualifications include: An undergraduate degree in business administration or finance, or equivalent work experience. 2-3 years of experience in commercial banking to include credit analysis. Strong interpersonal skills. Proven ability to develop, negotiate, document and service loan structures. Demonstrated ability to perform thorough analysis of the varying types of risk. Excellent communication skills. Working knowledge of operating risk (i.e. TRE, Overdraft, and Foreign Exchange) and financial statement spreading programs (i.e. MRA). Working knowledge of bank and group credit policies and credit grading systems. Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm
