Credit Analyst

Our client, a North American Investment Bank, currently seeks a Credit Analyst for Alternative Asset Managers, to be based in London

The Credit Analyst for Alternative Asset Managers will be responsible for:
-Undertaking appropriate due diligence and full analysis of counterparties' financial and industry information
-Reviewing documentation and liaising with the Documentation team and Group Law as appropriate
-Reviewing credit submissions submitted by the business in respect of fund manager clients
-Recommending the appropriate risk limits and internal risk ratings for approval
-Ensuring that regular due diligence is undertaken and that financial data for the various counterparties is received
-Participating in discussions relating to new initiatives, products and markets relating to asset managers

As such, the successful Credit Analyst for Alternative Asset Managers will have the following skills and experience:
-Good knowledge of trading products and alternative asset management sector
-Credit Analysis experience
-Must be a self-starter who operates largely independently
-Background of sound judgement in credit matters
-Ability to read and speak French would be a distinct advantage
-Solid credit experience in this sector
