Credit Analyst
Excellent opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join a Multi Million $ Singapore based Hedge Fund
This an excellent opportunity for a driven and successful candidate to develop their career within the Credit Research space with a market leading team.
My client is looking for strong credit research analysts with 5-7 years experience and a strong exposure across the Asian Credit High Yield debt markets. Any distressed debt experience would be beneficial. The fund runs a pan-Asia mandate and coverage across multiple regions is required.
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for developing reports and investment ideas on the Asia Pacific credit markets; analysing market data, conducting statistical analyses and developing Investment proposals for the team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop research in a team which is expanding its regional coverage.
- Monitor, evaluate and explain the regional credit outlook, focusing on revenue-relevant, liquid, and thematically important credit markets.
- Regularly write and project manage both strategic and trading-oriented investment ideas.
- Coordinate research with in-house company analysts and external research companies.
- Liaise and strengthen relationships with internal and external clients.
- Supervise and mentor credit analysts within the research unit of fixed-income research.
Key Requirements
- At least 5-7 years experience within Credit research with a specific focus on High Yield or Distressed Debt markets
- University educated with a degree in either Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Engineering
- Strong Analytical/Problem solving skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills; enjoy research work and discussing research findings with stakeholders.
- Personal characteristics suited for teamwork, communication, intellectual challenge, and detail-orientation.
